Who We Are
Di.Di. Diversamente Disabili
Founded in January 2013, Diversamente Disabili Onlus is the first association in Italy dedicated to introducing or reintroducing people with disabilities to the world of motorcycles, individuals who, due to various challenges, have never had the opportunity to do so.
The founders of this unique organization are Emiliano Malagoli and Chiara Valentini.
In 2011, Emiliano lost his right leg following a motorcycle accident, but he remarkably returned to racing on the track in record time and decided to share his passion with other disabled individuals.
In 2012, during an Endurance race at Mugello, Emiliano met Chiara Valentini, a European champion in 2006 who had returned to racing after a 4-year hiatus due to injury.
Their paths crossed and fueled by their experiences and determination, the Di.Di. Diversamente Disabili Association was born, later becoming a recognized non-profit organization.
Annalisa Minetti, a singer and Paralympic athlete, serves as the godmother and strong supporter of Di.Di., while Lucio Cecchinello, the Team Manager of LCR in MotoGP, is the honorary president.
