This is the goal of our recognized <strong>track\/paddock safe riding courses<\/strong> accredited by the Italian Motorcycling Federation, designed for all <strong>disabled motorcycle enthusiasts<\/strong>, from beginners to experts. <\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <strong>Di.Di. Driving School<\/strong> <strong>provides<\/strong> <strong>adapted motorcycles for every type of disability<\/strong> (lower limbs, upper limbs, or paraplegia) <strong>and full technical gear<\/strong> (suit, gloves, boots, helmet, and back protector). They will be assigned to instructors who have similar challenges to ensure the best guidance with the right empathy. <\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <strong>first step<\/strong> is a <strong>slalom course<\/strong> within the paddock, a crucial phase to <strong>learn<\/strong> the <strong>basics<\/strong> of <strong>motorcycle handling<\/strong> and to practice with adaptations.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Subsequently, based on their abilities and as directed by the staff, students will proceed to the track <strong>with instructors by their side.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During the course, students will alternate between <strong>theoretical lessons and riding sessions<\/strong>: briefings with their instructor followed by practice on the track.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The main topics covered include: technical gear, vehicle care, riding position, adaptations, riding with a disability, braking, acceleration, cornering, and sequences of corners, racing lines, and braking points.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Upon completion of the course, a <strong>participation certificate<\/strong> will be issued.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The course is mandatory for those wishing to participate in any of the Italian races organized by Di.Di. Diversamente Disabili Onlus, especially for those who have not raced with us before or lack proven racing experience. These motorcycles feature a rear-wheel system that can be raised\/lowered. <\/li>\n<li><strong>1 Aprilia Mana<\/strong> with automatic transmission, front brake, and throttle on the left side, suitable for immobility of the right arm.<\/li>\n<li><strong>1 Aprilia Mana<\/strong> with the automatic or sequential transmission, button-operated, for immobility of the left leg and\/orleft arm.<\/li>\n<li><strong>1 BMW F800R<\/strong> with button-operated gear shifter, thumb-operated rear brake (for lower limb issues); servo-assisted braking, and light controls on the right side of the handlebar for those with upper left limb problems.<\/li>\n<li><strong>1 BMW 300<\/strong> without adaptations.<\/li>\n<li><strong>1 BMW 300<\/strong> with button-operated gear shifter and thumb-operated rear brake (for lower limb issues).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Due to limited availability<\/strong>, motorcycles will be &#8220;reserved&#8221; based on requests received upon payment of the course registration fee.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Each adapted motorcycle will be rented to a maximum of 2 students who will take turns riding. <\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Students renting a motorcycle will be required to provide a <strong>security deposit<\/strong> of \u20ac1,000 as partial or full coverage for any damages caused to the motorcycle during the rental period.
